Williams Cemetery

Section 31, Township 39 North, Range 13 West

Miller County, MO.

This is also sometimes called the Pemberton and/or Steen Cemetery. Take Hwy 42 west out of Iberia and go 6 miles to Spring Branch Road. There turn left and go .6 miles and turn right at the Pemberton mailbox, then turn right at their driveway and go .2 miles to their house. At the house we ask the owner if we could go down to the cemetery and she graciously told us that we were welcome. From their house you drive through their gate and through another gate, at the second gate be sure that you close it as they have cattle. After going through the second gate continue on around the field form .2 miles until you come to the cemetery. The cemetery is still used, fenced and well tended.

According to the owner, Mrs. Pemberton, and her cousin, Mr. Wall, there are several Baron children buried here with stones marking their graves, also, slaves of the Williams family.
